In 2015, the British Embassy in Cambodia and the British Chamber of Commerce, Cambodia (BritCham) signed the "Overseas Business Network initiative". The initiative aims to provide advice and assistance working alongside UK Government to deliver on-demand trade services for UK companies doing and seeking to do business in Cambodia, seamlessly supporting the UK Exporter's trade journey.

The initiative comes as part of a wider objective to strengthen the capability of the UK’s global B2B support network and to increase the number of UK exporters among small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Research has found that SMEs are more likely to seek information and advice from their business peers. As such, business networks like a Chamber of Commerce can offer an effective route to providing business with support to export. The Chamber provides a range of trade services to UK SMEs. We work alongside UK Government and ITAs in the UK, as well as the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) and it's network of 53 accredited Chambers of Commerce
