Founded in 1995 as the British Business Association of Cambodia, the British Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (BritCham) strives to be the leading forum for businesspeople with an interest in Cambodia and the UK. Our continuing goal will be to increase membership, develop more and more services and partnerships for our members and continue to be a voice for British business here in the Kingdom. With annual bilateral trade of roughly $1 billion, business plays an essential role in the UK-Cambodia relationship and is a priority for our Embassy. We see BritCham as a key partner in supporting British companies to export to Cambodia, invest in Cambodia and grow their businesses here, and in telling the story about the hugely positive impact that British business is having on Cambodia's development.
BritCham provides an essential forum to bring together British-connected businesses operating in Cambodia. It helps me and the wider Embassy team keep our fingers on the pulse of the issues at the front of our businesses' minds, helping us spot opportunities to support them. The Embassy is a strong supporter of BritCham events and activities and offers a privileged relationship to BritCham and its members.
